We had a honorable visit for a talk in the new branch west centre of BA. A diamond way buddhism travelling teacher and a great man Eckart Dross. I have met Eckart while staying in Karma Guen (although I spent much more time with Luo - his lovely girlfriend - as we talked a lot about many things) and I was happy to hear he was coming. It feels strange to say it but somehow it is very touching to see somebody from Europe. So I joined friends for this little event.
Eckart gave an interesting talk about the basics of buddhism since there were a lot of new people. Nevertheless even though it was pretty difficult for me because of course he talked in Spanish. Oh, let me correct myself - in castellano ;) . And I did enjoy it. After - as is a good habit within kagjus - we shared a couple of drinks and a good meal in a nearby restaurant. Althought I was sorry for Sebastian could not be there with us it was a very nice evening.

Měli jsme vzácnou návštěvu přednášející nám v novém západním centru v BA. Cestujícího učitele diamantové cesty a skvělého člověka Eckarta Drosse. Potkala jsem Eckarta během mého pobytu v Karma Guenu (ačkoli jsem strávila mnohem více času s Luo - jeho kozelnou přítelkyní - během spousty různých rozhovorů) a udělalo mi radost slyšet, že je tady. Je to zvláštní říci, ale nějakým způsobem to na mě působí velmi dojemně vidět někoho z Evropy. Takže jsem se přidala k přátelům a vydala se na tuto akci.
Eckart zajímavě vyprávěl o základech budhismu, jelikož mezi námi bylo hodně nových lidí. Nicméně to i přes to pro mě byla docela obtížná přednáška, protože samozřejmě mluvil španělsky. Oh, abych to uvedla na pravou míru - v kastilštině;) . A užila jsem si jí. Poté - jak je dobrým zvykem mezi kagju - jsme si spolu dali pár skleniček a dobré jídlo v blízké restauraci. Ačkoli mi bylo líto, že tam s nám nemohl být Sebastian, byl to moc pěkný večer.

This restaurant was a combination of a restaurant, bar, disco and bowling in one - and it suprisingly works out. One does not get disturbed by the other activities and the atmosphere is great... yes and the pizza and beer I had was as well not bad.. ;)

Tahle restaurace byla kombinací restaurace, baru, diskotéky a bowlingu v jednom - a překvapivě to funjuge. Člověk není rušen ostatními aktivitami a atmosféra je skvělá.. ano a ta piza a pivo také nebyli k zahození.. ;)
